How I went from 0 to 500 Million Views - Episode 50
EPISODE 50! This feels like a proper milestone.
So first of all - thank you.
Whether you’ve been here since Episode 1 or joined recently, I appreciate you reading, sharing, and building alongside me.
For Episode 50, I wanted to do something different.
Today, I’m breaking down:
How I went from 0 to 500 Million Views!
Let me give you some context.
The Beginning
In March 2023, I was made redundant from my job in finance.
It was a role I genuinely disliked - but it was comfortable and stable.
Redundancy forced urgency on me.
I had to either find another safe job… or take a risk on something that could actually change my life.
Later that year, I started posting basiccccc content.
In the entirety of 2023, I received 10,000 views.
That’s:
192 views per week
27 views per day
Embarrassing? Maybe.
Important? Definitely.
Because during that period - I didn’t stop.
The Turning Point
At the start of 2024, I committed to posting daily.
Still, nothing happened.
There was no reason for me to believe that this was the correct thing to do. But then in July 2024, something changed.
I was scrolling Instagram and saw that a page called FBBanterpage (100,000 followers at the time) was for sale.
I had been saving money from a second finance role, and I fully believed (for some reason) this could be my shot.
So I bought it.
When I took over the page, it had generated 4 million views in the previous six months.
By the end of 2024, it had generated over 50 million.
That was the moment I realised - this wasn’t luck.
This was skill compounding.
Shortly after, I took a wild punt, and left my job for good - or so I thought…
Growth & Disaster
By June 2025, I had built a fleet of pages.
Some big. Some small. But more importantly - I had built systems around the content I was producing
In the first six months of 2025 alone, I generated around 120 million views.
Then disaster hit.
Meta terminated FBBanterpage.
A page with over 135,000 followers. Gone.
At that point, I had two choices:
A. Go back to employment.
B. Double down on the content.
In the following July and August alone, so in the two months that followed the page being terminated, I generated 195 million views across my network.
That told me what my choice had to be.
Where I Am Now
Today, I have well over 600,000 followers across my pages.
My personal platforms continue to grow. I have a show called The Nearlymen, which is growing at serious momentum. And I’m producing more content than ever.
This is all through consistency, systems, and scale.
The Real Lesson
Everyone wants the million views - nobody wants the first 10,000.
The biggest takeaway from my journey?
Consistency.
I have posted every single day for nearly three years, even when it felt pointless, or even when a major page got deleted.
Consistency compounds.
Skill compounds.
Reputation compounds.
Results eventually follow.
